We are Lloyd and Ruth Milligan. We have worked with Wycliffe Bible Translators since 1979. For years we working in Papua New Guinea with the Mangseng people helping to faciliate a translation of the New Testament in their language.
We came back to the US to settle our 4 children into life in the US. We took jobs here with Wycliffe USA. Lloyd is in Recruitment. Ruth is in Member Care.
We continue to be involved with the Mangseng people. We return every couple of years by leading short term mission/vision trips for high school and college age young people interested in seeing how they can use their tallents in linguistics for His Glory!
We are also helping to facilitate the translation of the Old Testment into the Mangseng language. This will be an ongoing project for many years to come and will mean we will need to continue to take trips back to help with the checking of this large project.
Our children have all grown up and we now have 2 grandchildren.
